Colour is where my artistic instinct comes alive. My signature balayage, AirTouch, and graphic 3D hand paint techniques create texture, contrast, and movement — especially in thicker hair. I work with light and tone to sculpt dimension, from soft sunlit highlights to bespoke toning that adds richness and depth. The result is effortless, luminous colour that feels modern and completely individual.

All products are used and recommended based on professional judgement — not commercial agreements. If you have sensitivities or preferences, Robert will adapt.
Where fine art
becomes hair.
After graduating from art college, Robert retrained in London — the global heart of hairdressing — studying at Vidal Sassoon, Wella, and leading colour academies. His fine art background in composition, colour and form became the foundation of everything he creates. 24 years, top London salons, now based in Zürich.

I’ve been colouring my hair for years and never got it quite right. Robert took one look and knew exactly what was missing. The balayage he did is the best colour I’ve ever had — natural, dimensional, exactly me.”

Every new client begins with a consultation — not a quick chat before the basin, but a real conversation. We talk about your hair history, your lifestyle, what’s worked and what hasn’t. I look at your texture, density, and natural growth patterns. Only then do I pick up the scissors or open a colour chart. This is what it means to treat your hair as an individual.
Sassoon wasn’t just a school — it was a philosophy. Precision over decoration. Architecture over decoration. Structure that serves the person wearing it. That training fundamentally changed how I see a haircut: not as a style imposed on hair, but as a shape drawn out of it. Over a decade later, every cut I make is still rooted in those principles.
These aren’t just trend names — they are distinct techniques with different tools, timings, and results. Balayage is freehand painting for a sun-drenched, lived-in effect. AirTouch uses a dryer to isolate fine strands before colouring, creating the most seamless blend possible. 3D hand paint sculpts contrast and dimension layer by layer. Choosing the right one depends entirely on your hair — which is why we always consult before we colour.
Great colour deserves great care. Always use a sulphate-free shampoo — sulphates strip pigment and dry out the hair shaft. A weekly toning mask keeps tone fresh between visits. Avoid washing with hot water; rinse cool to seal the cuticle and maximise shine. And if you’re using heat tools, an Olaplex No.7 or equivalent heat protector isn’t optional — it’s essential. Small habits, lasting results.
